The Site Coordinator connects your Bin Controllers with the GrainSight interface. It relays readings and control instructions so you can check your site and manage settings from a phone or computer.

A Verizon® cellular modem connects your site without a separate farm internet connection. Coverage and signal strength at the installation location determine connectivity.

One Site Coordinator can wirelessly connect up to 16 Bin Controllers. Site layout, distance, and obstructions help determine coordinator placement and how many your site needs.

A weatherproof enclosure protects the electronics from outdoor conditions. The Site Coordinator is designed for ongoing use at your grain site, with installation and service support from Martin Tech.

Mounted on each bin, the Bin Controller reads the temperature cable and ambient, plenum, and roof EMC sensors. It uses these readings to direct connected fan control modules and heaters according to your selected operating mode, with fan-amperage monitoring for digital overload protection.

A high-performance 2.4GHz radio connects wirelessly with the Site Coordinator, eliminating complex wiring between bins. This streamlined communication makes installation easier and reduces the infrastructure needed to run the system. 

Built for the elements, the Bin Controller uses ISO-certified, made in the USA electronics, sealed inside a rugged, weatherproof enclosure. Outdoor-rated CAT5 cable and flexible conduit ensure clean, reliable wiring built to last season after season.

The Bin Controller can continue local monitoring and automatic control if the connection to the Site Coordinator or internet is lost. Remote access depends on restoring that connection.

A multi-color LED on the unit gives you quick, at-a-glance bin status without needing to check your phone or app. It’s a small detail that saves time when you’re in the yard. Green is good, red requires attention.

GrainSight™ temperature cables combine a protective plastic jacket and steel aircraft cable with laser-cut aluminum mounting brackets. Digital sensors spaced every 4 feet provide readings with ±0.5°C accuracy, helping you follow temperature trends at monitored depths.

EMC (Equilibrium Moisture Content) sensors are installed outside the bin, in the plenum, and at the roof to monitor both temperature and relative humidity. The Bin Controller uses this data to calculate the EMC at each location, enabling Intelligent Motor Control™ based on actual air-grain conditions—automatically choosing the best times to dry, cool, or condition your grain.

There’s no need to source additional parts—they’re built into the system from day one.

Intelligent Motor Control™ monitors fan amperage during startup and operation to provide digital overload protection. It supports single- and three-phase fan systems and helps protect motors from overload conditions.

Fan Control Modules switch your fans on and off under the direction of the Bin Controller. Operation follows the mode selected in the GrainSight interface, using EMC readings for moisture-based automation.

Automatic restart capability helps resume fan operation after power is restored, reducing the need to visit each bin to restart equipment.

Intelligent Motor Control™ limits the number of fan starts per hour to help reduce heat buildup from repeated starting.

Runtime logs and start counts show how much your fans have operated. Use those records alongside equipment inspections and manufacturer service recommendations to plan maintenance.
