Enter all contact information, e.g., Name, Phone, Email, Site Location.
Site Location is needed to calculate mileage for installation and to verify network coverage. This can just be the name of the town/township and state.
*If you have multiple site locations please separate with a forward slash ( / ).
Example: Sharon, ND/Franklin Township, ND
The # of Site Coordinators depends on how many Bin Controllers are needed and how far away your bin sites are. One Site Coordinator can communicate with up to 16 Bin Controllers as long as they are within range. You will need a Site Coordinator for every group of 16 bins and/or every group of bins that are outside of communication range.
*Most farm yard bin sites can be covered with one Site Coordinator.
Maximum allowable communication range is roughly 500 yards. This depends heavily on: line of sight between devices, any objects that may interfere with or deflect radio signals, other radio devices on property that my cause interference, and atmospheric conditions.
Every bin needs its own Bin Controller.
All EMC sensors, temp cables, and fan control boards are connected to the Bin Controller mounted on each bin.
The Bin Controller operates as a standalone unit if communication is ever lost with the Site Coordinator or if the Site Coordinator loses cellular service.
In each corresponding text field enter the total number of fans that have single phase power or three phase power, and total number of fans with heaters.
This is the total number of fans that meet each description on all bins, at all bin sites.
*You may enter 0 in one or two fields.
In the Bin Diameter/s field please list the diameters of all the bins, even if they are the same, separated with a forward slash ( / ).
Example: 32/32/48
In the # of Rings field enter the number of rings on all of the bins, even if they are the same, separated with a forward slash ( / ).
Example: 6/6/9
*Please make sure the '# of Rings' entry corresponds to the order in which you entered the 'Bin Diameter/s' as in the examples.
If you have three phase power, is it 480V? If so, do you have 120V power available on/near the bin?
Are there any spreaders, stirrators, or anything else that may hinder installation of temperature cables?
If there is anything else you want us to know here is your chance. The more we know, the better we can determine if we have the right solution for you.
